*Structural Steel Fabrication Company has job openings in Caldwell & Nampa, Idaho, for highly motivated individuals looking to expand their Maintenance Tech career! Positions are Full-Time, Temp-to-Perm with 45-50 hours worked each week. Schedules: Day- Mon- Fri 6am-4: 30pm, Swing- 4: 30pm to 3am. Ideal candidates will have Maintenance & Trouble-Shooting experience in; Electrical, Mechanical, & Hydraulics. Preference given to those with; strong work ethic, ability to consistently work assigned shifts, teamwork attitude, eagerness to learn and grow with the company. ONLY SERIOUS CANDIDATES NEED APPLY!
Skill, proficiency, and knowledge related to maintenance tasks and activities assigned.
Develop the ability to perform maintenance tasks and activities on a wide range of equipment, machinery, tools.
An ability to research proper methods to perform maintenance tasks.
An ability to continually expand and retain the skills and knowledge involved in performing new maintenance tasks.
Understand and apply standard plant methods & practices with minimal direction.
Performance of all activities at an acceptable level of production.
Pursue every opportunity to improve your performance, and increase skill and knowledge related to maintenance activities.
Complete knowledge of safety policy and safe practices associated with the performance of all activities undertaken in workplace.
Knowledge and proficiency in the safe, correct, and efficient use of tools, equipment, and machinery related to your tasks and activities.
Coordinate with other departments related to maintenance issues and activities.
Follow proper Lock-out/ Tag-out procedures at all times.
Ensure that equipment, machinery, and tools which require repairs are properly taken out of service immediately.
Confirm your qualification to make repairs before proceeding by coordinating with the Lead Maintenance Technician when necessary.
Consistently maintain an organized and clean work area
Advise Plant Management or supervisors of any issues related to tools, equipment, machinery or the facility immediately.
Collateral duties as assigned by Plant Management.
Confirm your qualification in accordance with policy to operate a tool, piece or equipment, or machinery prior to operation.
Report any safety violation, unsafe act, injury, other health or safety concern, or environmental issues to the Safety & Regulatory Compliance Manager, or Plant Management immediately.
